Chorizo, Taleggio, and Chipotle pepper Egg breakfast

Kelpie: Seaweed Ale

Very dark, smokey and toasted. Heavy and Aromatic; interesting but I don't think I'd drink it again.

Grapefruit thai pepper chicken on a bed of roquette in a soy, mint, grapefruit vinaigrette

Brew Dog's Chaos Theory (Ale)

Bitter and rich (just how I like my women). Has a sweet nose but an ale-y deep everything else. Surprisingly heavy for such an amber pour. Great!

Tomato, Basil, Shallot, Onion, Thai Chili Pepper reduction over Spaghetti

Smuttynose Short Batch #9 Rouge d’Shire

If shock tarts and not yet ripe cherries got pregnant, Smuttynose Short Batch #9 would undoubtedly be the child. Somewhat refreshing, sour through and through, this "beer" (if you can call it that) weirded me out. Try it if you are feeling experimental and have $16 to drop on a wholefoods growler, just don't get your hopes up... and don't drink too much of it or you'll have a killer stomachache.

Heinnieweisse Weissebier

Sweet light Weissebier, aromatic nose but fades fast. Very drinkable.

Rice Crispy Treat with a layer of bacon

(Left - both crisp layers) (Right - No final layer of crispy)

Sierra Nevada's Southern Hemisphere Harvest

Ultra refreshing dark and cloudy amber pour. Citrus and pine notes only help to enhance its ultra hoppy nature. One of the most drinkable beers I've had in a while.

Yale Lager

Brewed exclusively by Brooklyn Brewery for the Yale Club of New York. Don't let its light color fool you Yale Lager has a full (and hoppy) body. It begins fairly sweet with a strawberry note and mellows out quickly with a smooth grassy finish.

Porkslap Pale Ale

Musty, sweet and hoppy. Very drinkable, especially dark for a pale ale but still refreshing. Leaves you with a light after-taste of ginger.
